I began my career with Concentus as an intern in Fall 2020. I graduated in December 2020 from Temple University and started as an investment management associate in 2021. I oversee trading, portfolio due diligence, and run the investment committee.
I have always had an interest in the financial markets. Growing up, I worked for my neighbor’s landscaping business. Every time he paid me, he told me to remember that he got wealthy through investing his earnings and letting the money do the work for him. We ended up talking every day about the economy and capital markets. When I was 18, I opened my first brokerage account and market research became a hobby.
To pursue my interests in college, I majored in Finance. By junior year, I added my second major in Financial Planning. I saw everyone in my family run successful businesses, yet none of them had a long-term plan. Many of them were also not making their money work for them through investments like my neighbor had told me. It quickly became apparent that I wanted to help more people understand the power of investing and create a financial plan that helped them achieve their goals.
I am now in study mode to complete the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and look forward to building long-term relationships with Concentus clients.
