I was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, and graduated with a liberal arts degree from Northern Arizona University. My first job after graduation was working as an assistant manager at Lady Footlocker in Phoenix. I eventually moved to the Philadelphia area in 1992 and received a master’s degree in elementary education in 1997 at Cabrini College. I gave birth to my first daughter the day after final exams!  That was a whirlwind, and she attended my graduation at the age of one week. I was fortunate to stay home and have quality time with both of my daughters in their early years and worked as a preschool teacher where they both attended.

In 2010, I began a banking career at Penn Liberty Bank in Wayne. I have worked in the financial industry for 12 years in a variety of supporting roles. The best part of my career has been creating relationships with customers and colleagues over the years.

My hobbies include being active outdoors and spending time with family and friends. My weekends are no longer spent shuffling kids to activities while supporting their interests. This now provides the time to give back to the community on a more regular basis. I enjoy volunteering with the food pantry in Wayne, which provides groceries to 60 local families each week. In addition, I enjoy helping to coordinate and deliver meals to over 100 people in underserved areas several times a year. Our family spent Christmas 2021 at a shelter, passing out presents and serving a delicious hot meal.

My other love is our Goldendoodle named Bella. She brings a tremendous amount of joy into our lives. My husband and I enjoy taking her to the dog park and watching her run like a deer. She loves every dog and human she meets.

My Prior Experience

I taught preschool for 10 years when my daughters were young and had similar schedules. I began my banking career in 2010 with Penn Liberty Bank.
